Brief Chronological Historical Background
| 1948 |
Tan Eng Hong Company was formed.
|
| 1969 |
Tan Eng Hong Branch was formed as a
subsidiary company of Tan Eng Hong Company
to undertake manufacturing of exercise books and other paper products for schools
and offices. Initial capital was RM 100,000.

| 1982 |
Tan Eng Hong Paper & Stationery Sdn. Bhd.
was incorporated to assume the entire business of
Tan Eng Hong Branch. Capital was increased
to RM1,430,000.

| 1986 |
Prai factory with a built up area of 30,400sq. ft. was constructed to expand into
manufacturing of computer forms and other continuous stationery.

| 1996 |
Capital was raised to RM5,000,000.
|
| 1997 |
An additional factory space of 41,600sq. ft. was added to the Prai factory. Two
new fully automatic exercise books production lines were added to boost the
production capacity.

| 2002 |
A further 64,000sq. ft. of factory space was added to the Prai factory making
total aggregate built up area of 136,000sq. ft.. Relocation programme of the
production facilities from Raja Uda factory to Prai factory started. Expansion
and automation of hard cover books production completed.

A 22,800sq. ft. modern double storey office complex housing the entire
administration was completed in October.
